Denny Lawrence is currently a professor at NYU, working at the Kanbar institute of Film and Television.
He has worked in numerous fields in the Australian film and Television industry for over forty years. Lawrence's career has ranged from actor, writer, director and more recently professor.
In a lot of Lawrence's writing there is often an element of satire that is used to reflect Australian stereotypes and also to highlight political view points and problems during the era of production.
