Comments Nicolas Roeg is an English film director who began his career in the film industry as a cinematographer. His first film as solo director was the feature Walkabout, set and shot in Australia in 1971. Roeg went on to direct such films as Don't Look Now (1973), The Man Who Fell To Earth(1976), Bad Timing (1980), and more recently the children's film The Witches (1990).

Roeg has been classified as a daring and idiosyncratic filmmaker concerned with themes of the human condition, psychology and perversion.
