Paramount Theatre, Melbourne

This page discusses the organ that was at the Paramount/Lyceum. The Wurlitzer seven-rank organ had come from the De Luxe Theatre, and remained at the Paramount/Lyceum until 1946. It also explains where in the theatre the organ was. It also mentions to the two other names the venue later was known by; the Cleopatra in 1963, then the Paris until 1975 when the venue closed and was demolished. The organ that was in the Paramount/Lyceum had been brought across from the De Luxe theatre. The specifics of the organ is explained and then what happened to the organ is also discussed.
