Synopsis |
This page gives a short history into the venue. Discussing the name change from Paramount to Lyceum in 1936. It also mentions to the two other names the venue later was known by; the Cleopatra in 1963, then the Paris until 1975 when the venue closed and was demolished.
The organ that was in the Paramount/Lyceum had been brought across from the De Luxe theatre. The specifics of the organ is explained and then what happened to the organ is also discussed. The shell of the organ ended up in a church in NSW and other parts of the organ were used for the organ that went into the Regent that opened in 1947.
