I really enjoyed reading this review, because of the simple fact that it does not totally dismiss As Time Goes By as just a piece of crap. Unlike other reviews of the time (of which there aren't many), the movie is accepted for what it is, as Houston puts it, a "cheerful, innocent, innoffensive comedy".
