Comments Volume one is more useful really. Most of the information presented here are not particularly useful to someone who wants to find out more about Thornhill's works. But nevertheless, it gives a filmography of Thornhill's important feature films like Between Wars and The F.J. Holden.

Mentioned the collaboration between Frank Moorehouse and Michael Thornhill. Their first feature film together. It also talks about the storyline and plot of the film Between Wars, which traces the period in Australia between the two World Wars.
