A Case study on the successful marketing and promotion strategy used for Nice Coloured Girls can be found in the book 'Marketing and Distribution' published by the A.F.C and AFTRS in their Taking Care of Business series. Author: Jennifer Stott, Chp. 17. pg 114-116. (T.D'Aversa)
Synopsis Three girls go out for a night on the town and meet up with a "Captain" who pays for their "good time". The film explores notions of reversed exploitation. Each shot is carefully framed using metaphor and sound to drive the narration. The Irish narration is particularly powerful as it attempts to integrate history into a contemporary context that exposes a racial history.
