Synopsis Set in Sydney during the Great Depression, Careful He Might Hear You tells the story of six-year-old PS, whose mother is dead and whose father has disappeared. PS's peaceful and happy life with his working-class aunt is interrupted by the arrival of his wealthy English aunt. A custody battle over PS ensues with the English aunt winning. However, PS rebels against the decision and is permitted to live with his Australian aunt.
