Comments The film ‘The Sundowners’ is good because it depicts well aspects of Australia outback in 1920s such as their life, relationship and story with the traditional and beautiful images.
Synopsis The Carmody family, Paddy, Ida and their teenage son Sean, in Australia Outback are sheep drovers and they are always moving their life. Since they have been travelling around Ida and Sean want to settle down hoping their own farm in the future. However, Ida's husband Paddy wants to keep moving without settlement. There are various adventures for the Carmody family such as gambling, a race horse, drinking and a sheep-shearing contest, and they meet other characters by these adventures. Finally, the Carmody family recognise their love, happiness as well as the importance of son Sean.
