This article recounts the decision to give 'Oz' a second chance at Australian distribution after its successful run in the United States. For re-distribution, the film had been cut by 15 minutes, and its title had been changed Twentieth Century Oz.
Co-producer Lyne Helm explained that the title was changed because "there were possible copyright problems with Oz: there were so many products, T-shirts, stickers and so on using the word"(84) |
