This is a great article for those who are big fans of Ben Mendelsohn. It is also of great interest for those who may have interests in producing films. Ben discusses his experiences as an actor on each shoot he has worked on, right through from working with actors, directors and cinematographers, to what impact blown out budgets have had on him as an actor and as a member of a production team. His perspective is of value because he is very knowledgable about film making and is aware of every aspect of the production process. In addition to this level of discussion, he mentions what a different experience high budget film making is to that of low budget film making. A great read and good gossip.
Reference is made to Mandy Walker, whom Mendelsohn praises and says that at the stage of shooting 'Return Home' her work was under-rated.
