Two men hid in the Grosvenor theatre on the night of the 12th January after the show. They smashed the door of the manager's office and stole a safe containing £150. To get out of the theatre they broke the back door.
Four men were then seen in the yard on Little Collins Street. Frederick John Quinn and Albert Quinn (brother) were charged after a witness gave evidence in the City Court. Both pleaded not guilty and Mr. McLean (PM) fixed their bail at £100. |
