Comments The article reports all the programmes of engagements the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester had while they visited Australia. Their visit started with a garden party on Friday 16 November 1945 at Governement House in Melbourne. On that night the Duke hold a speach at a Church of England Boys' Society rally. Over the weekend they had several appointments. On Wednesday 21 they joined a special performance of 'I live in Grosvenor square' at the Grosvenor theatre, Little Collins Street.

Several hundred people gathered in front of the cinema to catch a glimpse on the Duke and Duchess and their party.

Before screening they played the National Anthem in the auditorium. Later at the request of the Duke the film 'I live in Grosvenor square' was given to Melbourne Legacy.
