Comments This unfinished film was commissioned by the ACTU which owed the copyright and stopped its completion and release. The ACTU objected to the film on the basis that it projected an image which they didn't want projected, ie. its militant history. The film was screened a couple of times by the AFI, and now circulates amongst leftie circles on video. It is an amazing film, with information which is hardly ever brought to light by the mainstream media.
Synopsis The film traces the history of the trade union movement in Australia from the late 1800's until 1988.
