Audio is a bit muffled and halfway through they had an audio dropout which had to be fixed during a commercial break. Not bad for a live O.B. though.
If anybody hitting this site has seen this footage or actually was at the premiere. please leave a comment. I would be interested to know who was recording the premiere on film as in the TVT6 footage a film camera operator keeps accidentally walking into shot. Who was this person and where is that footage now? |

This is not a fiction film.
This is TVT6's live coverage of the Manganinnie world premiere in Hobart in July 1980.
Trevor Sutton and Robyn Laughland were stationed in the foyer of the West End Twin Cinemas interviewing members of cast and crew and dignitaries. Even the wombat attended the premiere.
Runs for 30mins and contains footage from the film Manganinnie and footage from the production on set of Manganinnie. |
