| Synopsis |
A story about a Western Samoan immigrant, Sione, in New Zealand and his experiences there, particularly focusing on his relationship with a European girl,Sarah. In New Zealand Sione faces much racism. Eventually, after his relationship with Sarah is over, Sione decides to go back to Western Samoa, though there is little except for his mother there. On his return he is disgusted by the change in his mother and her values, and disowns her. Sione returns to New Zealand. |
