Comments Black & White's Producer, Craig Lahiff was a young boy when the Max Stuart case took place in South Australia during the 1950s. A memory which lingered in his mind from childhood and one which he felt needed to be on screen sooner but managed to take Six years before making it to the big screen.

Synopsis The film Black and White is an autobiographical film, which focuses on an Aboriginal man, Rupert Max Stuart being found guilty of murder and was sentenced to be hanged in South Australia in the 1950s. The film explores subject matter such as rape, murder, racism and injustice towards Aboriginal people.
