| Synopsis |
Alice (Melanie Lynskey) lives in suburban Christchurch but dreams of adventure of American cinematic proportions. Her best friend Craig (Dean O'Gorman) owns a classic Valient and together they travel the roads of SI New Zealand, picking up hitchhikers and looking for excitement. When they meet Seth, an American cowboy on the run from a gang of skinheads and drug-dealers, Alice is enchanted, Craig jealous. The road-trip turns sinister as Seth's enemies begin to catch up on them. |
