Title Strange Fits of Passion
Released 1999
Production Year 1998
Director Elise McCredie
Synopsis Strange Fits of Passion is the first film written and directed by Melbourne based actor Elise McCredie. It was filmed around Melbourne and in the ABC studios in just five weeks, beginning late September 1998.

The film centres around a young female character in one wet Melbourne winter, her obsession with losing her virginity and yearning to find her identity - sexual and otherwise. Along the way she experiences some embarassing sexual mishaps. However her youthful obsessions are juxtaposed with a literary intelligence and life and love are constantly deconstructed in many late night deep and meaningful conversations with her gay flatmate, Jimmy.
