Synopsis This documentary follows an Aboriginal Elder's expedition along with an anthropological professor to caves that he had not visited for thirty years. He tracks the path partly with maps and partly through his own intuition and comes across paintings in the caves that were made by his grandfather. The document is a stunning account of the vast history of the Aboriginal people and the representations that were made through cave paintings , giving him the chance to pass on valuable information to his family. There is an amazing shot of a beautiful women collecting shells from a lake and a final call at the end to his an ancestors on a rock , as he screams to the skies there is the ever pervading sound of a helicopter overhead , a constant reminder of the irrevocable effects that colonisation has had on the lives of these people.
