| Synopsis |
Set against the anti-Vietnam war movement in 1970, Richard, an accomplished political journalist lives with Penny, an intellectual, and is having an affair with Dee, an actress with an alternative theatre group. The two women meet accidentally and take a holiday together by the sea. They develop a close friendship but when Richard arrives to visit them he finds he is only barely tolerated by either woman. |
