| Synopsis |
Russian Jewish immigrant Evgeny has become detached from his community and slowly from himself. He holds a PhD but works two mind-numbing jobs. Evgeny wants to bring his mentally ill sister to Australia, ignoring that her illness has already consumed her. Twenty-something aristocratic Maja experiments with hallucinogenic drugs in an endless nightlife. Losing control, she finds itâs too late to turn back. |
