Glendyn Ivin is the director of %u201CLast Ride%u201D, which starred Hugo Weaving. There are various websites with info on Glendyn Ivin, but he is one of the few who does this willingly. Glendyn has a blog called Hoaxville.com where it gives an autobiographical history, saying that he is %u201Ca film director living in Melbourne, Australia. Since 2000, I has been a director at Exit Films, a commercial production company, based in Melbourne. I was very lucky when my first short drama, Cracker Bag, won the Palme d%u2019Or for short film at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival. Cracker Bag was also nominated for four Australian Film Institute Awards (AFI), winning two for Best Short Screenplay and Best Short Film. The film also won jury prizes at the Berlin and Aspen film festivals.%u201D There are dozens of blog posts with hundreds of words about the film %u201CLast Ride%u201D. Also used for background info is the university of Newcastle%u2019s Alumni page, proudly proclaiming the work Glendyn post degree. Both of these sources provide unique perspectives and unique insight into Glendyn Ivin. Again both have their biases but overall I would consider it a good source. Also of use is IMDB. It doesn%u2019t have a biography but it does have the extensive list of films/TV Shows that Glendyn has directed, from Cracker Bag in 2003 to the Beaconsfield telemovie in 2012.
