The front stalls seats may have been wooden forms and the seating elsewhere may have been little more the thinly padded, wooden flip up seats. Given that the venue was multi purpose the downstairs floor would have been flat and the banks of seats would have been bolted on skids so that they could slide them away for eg. a dance or roller skating."
