During the 70s and 80s Antony I Ginnane or Tony Ginnane produced successful films such as the soft porn, Fantasm and the horror movie, Patrick.
Ginnane was renowned for using foreign actors in his films much to the annoyance of Actors Equity. Ginnane was forced to shift his activities to New Zealand where he made five feature films.
Ginnane's returned to Australia where he set up the International Film Management(IFM) which raised the finance for a great many films in the late 80s when pre-sales were a must. |
