He first made his name in the industry in the mid-70s with Pure Shit. He failed to finish a course at the London film school, left in 1969. He had made one short film at university, then started doing ABC contract work. In 1970 he made film clips, before the feature film, "The Clinic".
He has his own company, Jethro Films.
