Name Peter Faiman
Comments Although Faiman is best known as the director of the international blockbuster, Crocodile Dundee, his career has mainly been based in television.
Faiman has worked as a producer on the TV shows of Don lane, Ernie Sigley, Burt Newton, Graham Kennedy and Paul Hogan. He was associate producer and director for the latter for over twenty programs, including two UK specials in 1983. These shows were seen in twenty six coutries around the world.
Faiman has directed ten Logies Awards shows, as well as musical specials on Neil Diamond, Olivia Newton John, Dire Straits, Elton John, Frank Sinatra and a Royal Varitey special. He won a Logie for his Cliff Richard concert special.
Faiman was the head of the Special Projects Division of Nine Network Australia fron 1982 until 1986.
