Robbie swan is a parliamentary lobbyist for the adult industry and the Eros Foundation. He started his career as a yoga and relaxation technique instructor before turning to journalism. He edited the Magazines 'Simply Living' and 'Matilda', and was a producer for Phillip Adams on 2UE before being fired for wearing battle dress on the anniversary of the Vietnam war (he was an ex draft resistor).
Swan went back to print by making magazines such as the adult journal 'Ecstasy' . In 1989, Swan was invited to become the lobbyist for the newly formed Adult Video Industry Association, a group set up largely by John Lark. Swan continued in this position until the association was 'merged' with a lobby group for the sexual services industry to become the Eros Foundation.
Swan has remained Eros' parliamentary lobbyist and has been involved in a number of campaigns revolving around censorship issues, most noticeably the push for an NVE classification to replace X.
Robbie Swan is widely quoted in the press on matters involving sex and censorship.
