Name Michelle Draper
Birth Year 1979
Comments Michelle completed a Bachelor of Arts-Journalism at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Melbourne in November, 1999.

Over the past 3 years, she has completed news radio shifts for Tripe R in 1998 and 1999, filed news stories for Newsline on Channel 31, (Melbourne's community television station) and also presented Newsline live to air and conducted interviews.

She became involved with RMITV (Newsline producers) further in January 1999, when she took up the position of Assistant Floor Manager on comedy variety show 'Boob Tube', which she also wrote and produced short segments for. In the second half of 1999, she went on to host her own show, 'Subsonic', an electronic music program. She reported and produced several segments for the 10 week series, including an interview with popular UK group Groove Armada, as well as co-hosting the show with creator Darren Macfarlane. Both of these shows were produced at RMITV and aired on Channel 31.

Michelle has also starred in several film productions while at University. They include;

"Gorefest" - Feast of the Dead
Character - Joylene.
Short film - Director Darren Macfarlane

"Mondo-Rama" - Trailer for RMIT Kaleide Cinema program
Character - Very scared girl running from a very weird scary guy.
Director - Darren Macfarlane

"The End of the World"
Trailer
Character - Another very scared girl who is engulfed by a deadly green vapour.
Director Sophie Alexiadis (also has an essay on Bonza - check it out!)

"La Trahis" - Unfinished feature film inspired by noir and gangster films, by Director Nigel Mallet (also has an essay on Bonza). Michelle plays the femme fatale!
Character - Lou Lou

Strangely, the majority of Michelle's film credits are to date, schlock horror films! Must be the people she's hanging around. Ah, university life! She hopes to have more challenging roles in the future, hopefully in the women's film genre she has just tried to define!

On a more serious note, Michelle is currently pursuing a career in journalism after completing her degree.
