Andrea Maksimovic studied Journalism at RMIT from 1995 until 1999. She took so long because she got distracted by student politics and spent three consecutive years being an office-bearer in the RMIT Student Union. Her claim to fame is spending 19 days occupying the RMIT Finance Centre in opposition to up-front fees (which made no difference to the issue, but did prolong her time at RMIT substanitally as she failed subjects). Her hobbies include revolutionary struggle (which most often entails sipping lattes and engaging in violent discussion), going to the flicks (well, duuh, being a cinema student and what not) and generally leading an unhealthy lifestyle. Andrea would ideally like to change the world, but if that fails, she'll be happy to remain in academia world forever.
