Comments Frank Neil was, over his professional lifetime, a comedian, director, maager, playwright and producer in Australian theatre.

He acted in melodrama, pantomine and farce.

In 1925 he staged farces in his established Frank Neil Comedy Company, going on to stage revenues in 1931 and operating the Tivoili circuit in 1934.

In 1936 Ruth Craven performed in Cinesound's feature film 'Thoroughbred' courtesy of Neil.
