Comments	Alma Sahbaz was born in Sarajevo in 1965 and lived there all her life before coming to Australia soon after the seige of the city was lifted. In Sarajevo, Sahbaz studied classical violin and mechanical engineering and later ran her own coaching college. She joined the film crew for Exile in Sarajevo originally as a sound recordist, and then became the cinematographer when the previous incumbent Roman Baska had to return to Australia.
