Ludgate's talent as an experienced diver, underwater photographer, and cinematographer can be seen in films across the world. He spent eight years with the ABC in all of the major production areas including "Quantum", "Countrywide", "The Investigators", "Towards 2000" and The Natural history Unit. He has also worked in a number of different capacities on several feature films including "Blue Fin", "Dawn" and "Gallipolli." His most recent accomplishments were as cameraman for "Beyond 2000" and cinematographer on the award-winning ABC wildlife series, "The Nature of Australia." He has recieved numerous Gold Awards for specialized cinematography, Silver Awards in the areas of nature and wildlife, television magazines, commercials and current affairs. He was also winner of the Meada Prize, and education contest on human rights. |
