Flatman is an independent producer of films for television and theatrical distribution. He has 25 years experience as a producer and director of documentaries, operating his own production company since 1983.
Among his many successful independent productions are "Solar Trek", "The Kangaroo Route", "HMS PANDORA- In Pursuit of the Bounty" and "Nature's little Ambassadors." Flatman has also written, directed and produced two series about Australia's international trade and its place in the global market. His international awards include MOBIUS and London TV Awards, as well as CLIOs, Sammys and Penquins at home.
Flatman was chairman of the Documentary Division of the Screen Production Association of Australia and former Vice-President of the association. |
