Norma Disher was invloved with the New Theatre in Sydney, where she met the the other two members of the Waterside Workers Federation Film Unit. She worked for the unit full time, and after it was disbanded in 1959 went back to work in the New Theatre. She was a member of the Communist Party of Australia in the 1950's. |
