Name Linda Kozlowski
Comments Kozlowski's claim to fame is her role as newspaper reporter Sue Charlton in Crocodile Dundee (1986) and Crocodile Dundee II (1988). The actress grew up in New York and started her acting career on the stage. She starred in the stage production of Death of a Salesman, in also in the film version alongside Dustin Hoffman in 1985. It was Hoffman who recommended Kozloski to the makers of the Croc films, as he was impressed with her work on Salesman.
Since the Croc films, Kozlowski has made a few unsuccessful attempts to further her career, including roles in Pass the Ammo (1988), Almost an Angel (1990), Zorn (1994) and John Carpenter's Village of the Damned (1994).
Linda's personal life has been a topic of public interest due to her romance with Croc and Almost an Angel co-star Paul Hogan. The affair began during the filming of Crocodile Dundee, and by the time the sequal was released in 1988, Hogan had left his wife Nolene and five children for the New York actress. Kozlowski and Hogan soon married and have resurfaced in the media recently after having their first child together.
