Brief Discription of Plaza Cinema Croydon

Plaza Cinemas Croydon has been in operation since December 2011. It is now being managed and run as a family business with over 50 years of experience in the cinema industry.

History of Croydon Cinema

In 1977-01-01 Croydon Cinema was built and called Croydon Twin. While being called Croydon Twin, the cinema had only two screens and was closes in 1993-12-31. Reopened again in 1994 under the name Croydon Cinema, and was operational until 2003-04-01. While being under the name of Croydon Cinema, they opened two more screens and were able to seat 860 people. In 2004 it was reopened under the name Croydon Ritz Cinemas. It closed by 2005. Which leads to Plaza Cinema Croydon, which has been operating since. (Kara Lambert)
