Interesting trivia information in that the Chief Executive of the Tasmanian Film Corporation, Malcolm Smith, went to Cannes to promote the soon-to-be-released Manganinnie. Because Manganinnie didn't have a screening slot, he promoted it by handing out flyers and wearing a sandwich board promoting the film while walking around the various venues.
