Drive-ins Downunder is a great specialized website that focuses on drive-ins, especially in Australia. In this website, it introduces a unusual form of cinemas, drive-in theatres, where has large outdoor screens, and people can view films in their cars, which are not quite popular nowadays. Moreover, it is not only talking about Australian drive-ins, but also a few drive-ins in other nations. In addition, it also gives some basic knowledge about drive-ins for the people who have never been to one. The one good thing of this website is that it provides many other related links about different kinds of cinemas in different places, which would be very helpful for the people who want to further researches.
Even though this website is about drive-ins theatre, it also mentions some normal cinemas, which includes my topic-Chinatown Cinema. In the Chinatown Cinema section, it not only introduces the history and background of Chinatown Cinema, but also provides some useful images, which are showing what it looks like inside the cinema, the screens, the seats, the main projection room, and how did the projector work in the projection room. These images visualize the facts of the cinema before Hoyts leased out, and people do not have to imagine what should look like.
