| Synopsis |
An article that dismisses the idea that Thoroughbred is to be a "world triumph", but rather a reasonably good film by world standards.
There is dissent with American's portrayel of Australian characters as "nearly always rough and raucaus", and the main critism concerns itself with the plot. There is concession given for the film considering it is a "pioneering" effort; but overall the support for the film is thin and communicates a clear suggestion of what a film needs in order to be worthy of praise.
