This essay, povides a broad insight into the movement, Rosselini looks beyond himself and his involvement which is benefitial. It seems that he spends the entire essay struggling to define what realism actually is and how a film achieves this degree of 'realism.' In this light is it a useful essay for understanding the basis for the movement. |
