Camberwell at the Movies is a book which highlights the history of cinema in Camberwell, from when the original Rivoli opened at 570 Burke Road in 1921 until 2000 when the current Rivoli was refurbished.
The book discusses the closure of the original Rivoli, and the remarkable features the new Rivoli was to include; a rooftop garden and individual footwarmers. This book also features a number of photos of the Rivoli and advertisements featuring the opening of the new Rivoli in 1940.
