Comments
A thorough and engaging account of the production details behind "The Cars that Ate Paris".
Synopsis
In this article Glenn and Murray conduct interviews with the gaffer, sound recordist, co-producers and director of 'The Cars that Ate Paris'. Of the information they unearthed, one of the most interesting tidbits is the fact that originally the film was going to be "...a comedy centred around Graeme Bond - aka 'Aunty Jack' - but Weir felt that he had made a mistake in trying to create humorous rather than exploiting the comic potential of everyday events"(19).
