This article makes mention of the Children's International Film Carnival- an event on which I have not been able to locate any information. The Tasmanian Council for Children's Films and Television is also an association for which it is very difficult to find any records or documentation. The President of the Council was a Mrs Patricia Braithwaite and there may be a connection with the University of Tasmania (perhaps that academics from the English department or Art faculty were involved with the Council). This may be of use to any researchers of the Tasmanian film industry.
