This book's real value may only lie in its' reproduction of stills not nessesarily avaliable elsewhere.
Academically, it has major pitfalls: While it may include excerpts from reviews when discussing films, all details of the source remain uncited. In the case of the film entry on 'Thoroughbred', the same (lack of)information (word for word) reappears in Reade's 'The Australian Screen: A Pictorial History Of Australian Film-Making' (1975), where only a slight addition is made to the same entry.
