Comments Bana's comment re:"that type of person" is contentious and unlike other comments where he refuses to give an opinion on Read (other than that he is funny and has 'presence'). Perhaps the comment was taken out of context or perhaps it had something to do with this interview being conducted pre-marketing strategy and/or pre-Read's viewing of Chopper. Also, Al Clark's comment echoes Adrian Martin's sentiment re: lack of "true crime" stories on Australian screens.
Synopsis Urban visits cast and crew on set at Melbourne's Pentridge prison only after agreeing not to publish the article until closer to the films release.

The article includes comments from Bennett, Dominik and Bana who claims his upbringing in the Western suburbs creates an affinity with "that type of person", namely Read.

In response to the claim that a film about Read should not be made, executive producer, Al Clark defends Chopper stating Australian cinema has not produced anything notable in crime or criminal psychology and the British and Americans have owned the genre.

Article also questions whether the film glorifies.
