First of all in this article, there was a typo error for the director's name, it was spelled Grigor Jordan!
However, there were some good points in this article, Michael, finds it an interesting idea having an narrator in the film but ultimately to him he find it an unnecessary accessory to a well-plotted, extremely enjoyable film.
Another interesting point the article brought up is, Michael, was able to pick up the point that Jordan, tried to make the villans in the film likeable, like people we can relate too. These 'villan's are men who pass the time playing Scrabble or chess in t-shirts and trackie pants and go home from the office each night to happy families. However, all these villans have another side of them. They'll shock the audience when they resort to extreme violence without a second thought, and it is the very notion of the ordinary work of the villans/gangsters that make us or the audience afraid and scared. |
Synopsis |
A rather detail review of the movie. It was given a 3 and the 1/2 star rating out of 5. So it was categorise as one of those must see movies. |
