Full article: BRISBANE, Monday: "Smiley" has had unprecedented success in Queensland with a four week season at the Regent - in which it outgrossed "A Man Called Peter" by more than 2000 pounds - and a record breaking stand at Earls Court Theatre, Rockhampton.
"Smiley" was one of the few pictures to do more than three weeks at the Regent, while its season at Rockhampton outgrossed any other film ever to play the house, irrespective of advanced admission prices or holiday palying dates. |
