Comments The site contains detailed knowledge on various cinemas and drive-ins in and around Melbourne, accounting the exhibition schedules for adult films in the 70's and 80's. During most of the 70's, The Liberty was known as The Galaxy Cinema, and screened mostly foreign adult films. The site has a page on The Galaxy Cinema's schedule from 1973-74, including an introductory information about the cinema and why those films were shown there. Dean Brandum notes that a much wider range of screening records can be found on the CAARP database, however, his presentation of the screenings accompanied by the relating movie posters is a fabulous joy to browse.
Synopsis Brandum's site is a useful collection of movie posters/newspaper ads and correlating screening schedules for the adult films shown at Brunswick's Galaxy Cinema AKA Liberty Theatre.
