It shows the true Moorhouse, a strong but natural woman who isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. It reveals the rapid rise Moorhouse received after her hit movie Proof in Australia to the big smoke, Hollywood to direct alongside Spielberg, ‘How To Make an American Quilt’. It is also helpful in understanding Moorhouse’s journey in directing ‘How To Make an American Quilt’ and allows us to understand how and why she made this film. It links nicely in with women in the film industry and the attachment they have to a movie more so then men. It captures an understanding of the connection women have more so with the film personally as a director, than simply just directing.
